I can tell you where I was……. Miss Cayce’s!! The magical world is magically appearing…..Since I last talked to you the “Closers” Kira Sedgewick aka Alta Lynn and her crew mainly Debbie have been visiting rather should I say camping out in the themed areas. After we leave a completely decorated tree the decorate shelves, mantles and tables while trying to coral and display ALL the fabulous merchandise Becky and I bought. Kathleen, Georgeann & Leslie our very talented floral designers create their masterpieces, wreaths, garland and centerpieces to compliment the theme and continue to tell the story to sell.
Amy (The Back Stock Queen) takes what can’t fit into the displays and stacks, stuffs & rearranges the multitude of merchandise into every nook & cranny in the warehouse & storage areas!
I forgot to tell you because I wasn’t blogging then...(Imagine me blogging…..My kids are a little uncomfortable they know I can barely email)! Amy, Della, Linda, Jo Ann, Betty, Norma, whoever else we could round up to unload, unbox, check in and price the butt loads of crap we received all summer….I mean exquisite fabulous merchandise we hand selected just for you!!! And the trash….we’ve had tsunami’s of boxes, Styrofoam, bubble wrap and peanuts to deal with! Actually I haven’t dealt with it………Monty and Tara have been the best “White Trash people” ever! Thanks ya’ll!!
We’re currently working on the “Dipped In Chocolate”, “Regal, Royal & Red All Over “ and the Gold & Red tree’s….I haven’t thought of a Fun name Yet! Any suggestions? Oh Yea y’all haven’t seen it yet, It’s turning out beautiful. The “Closer’s” have been buried alive in Halloween WITCH is unbelievably the scariest amount of crazy, fun stuff, we’ve ever had! Tammy “Our village Idiot” and her very capable assistant Linda have put Department 56 at your door step. If you don’t already have a love affair with one of the village collections you’ll be smitten this year!
The Three Kings on their way to visit Jesus have stopped off at the Radko area to pick up some gifts! It may take them a while to choose, again a big and wonderful selection! No wonder Jesus was 3 when they arrived!
Hey gotta go-we’re going to Jumburitto for breakfast and a store meeting to discuss all the events we’re planning this season!
